RECYCLING AND REFUSE INFORMATION
** 2019 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE **
NO REFUSE OR RECYCLING PICK UP ON THESE DAYS
- New Year's Day (1/1)
- Memorial Day (5/27)
- July 4th (7/4)
- Labor Day (9/2)
- Thanksgiving Day (11/28)
- Christmas Day (12/25)
**Collections will run 1 day late**
REFUSE can be placed
at curbside at 4:00 pm the night before your pickup day.
45 gallon garbage can is largest size allowed per ordinance!
All trash inside cans MUST be bagged!
RECYCLING CANS - $15.00 each - Extra Lids are $3.00
Available Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:00p.m.

- Brown paper bags
- Phone Books
NO hard back books,
NO plastic bags, NO
NO foam cups or containers,
Please wash/rinse out all materials & flatten any plastic containers.

Leaves must be in biodegradable bags for collection
Bags can be purchased 5/$3.00 at the following locations:

TREE BRANCH RECYCLING
Residents who have tree branches can call Public Works at
(412) 856-3343 for a scheduled pick up.
Branches cannot be larger than 9 inches at base. NO LOGS OR STUMPS
CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING
December 26, 2019 thru January 24, 2020. Please place trees curb side
on regular refuse day and a separate truck will be around for pick

Before any REFRIGERATORS are placed at the curb for collection, a
certified technician must remove the FREON.
The following companies will remove the freon and place a certified
sticker on the appliance.

No longer than five feet and tied in 35 lb bundles.
LARGE FURNITURE - COUCHES - ANY SIZE MATTRESSES -
DRESSERS - WASHERS - DRYERS - STOVES - DISHWASHES
Can be placed at curb for regular scheduled pick up.
Paint must be dried and inside box marked "PAINT"
Paint dry can be purchased from local hardware store or kitty litter
can also be used to help dry it out faster.
