2026 Spring Parks Guide Cover 1x1Believe it or not, spring is right around the corner. That means it’s time to start getting outdoors and experiencing everything that our community has to offer!

The Municipality of Monroeville’s Recreation & Parks Department officially released its Winter/Spring 2026 Activity Guide, featuring dozens of camps, classes and special events catering to a wide variety of ages and interests.

For those looking to get in the water, the Municipality is offering a full complement of Aquatic Programs to match any skill level. From learn-to-swim courses for both children and adults to recreational swim sessions, there is something available for everyone.

If you are looking to learn something new in a more structured environment, this season’s guide is also offering several Instructional Programs. Partnering with local organizations like C.S. Kim Karate, Dynamic Music Studio and Learn3Ride, classes range from self-defense and first aid to playing an instrument or learning to cook healthy meals.

Speaking of health, there is also a host of Health & Fitness Programs and Sports Leagues available to join. Whether you are looking to get into your ‘summer bod’ or just trying to stay active, there is a program that is right for you.

Unique courses like “Drums Alive” at the Monroeville Senior Center join mainstays like Yoga in the Park and Pickleball classes. Youth soccer and T-ball leagues are also available and accepting new players.

Leisure programs, crafting classes, after-school courses and youth hangouts are also available to enjoy this spring.

And while the weather still might be a bit chilly out, it’s never too early to look forward to summer! Registration for our summer programs is also open now.

Our traditional Summer Day Camp features outdoor games and activities, crafts and weekly field trips, while Safety Town teaches safety skills and situational awareness to children entering kindergarten. This year also features another session of our Summer Theater Camp, where participants will perform a production of Seussical Kids!

Special events like the annual Egg-stravaganza and Jack Sedlak Memorial Clean Up Day round out the great opportunities offered over the next few months.

All programs have a specific registration date, and payment must be made during registration. Monroeville residents are prioritized during registration.
