BEFORE placing appliances at the curb for garbage
collection, a CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN MUST remove the
FREON. The following is a list of companies who will
remove the freon and place a sticker on the appliance.
Branches, Wood and Carpeting
Must be no longer than five feet,
and tied into bundles weighing no more than 35 lbs.
Tree branches will NO longer be picked up by Refuse
Crews. They will be recycled. Residents who have
tree branches can call the Monroeville Public Works
at (412) 856-3343 to schedule a pick up.
Place aside in a box clearly marked paint cans.

Public works Dept. 200 Starr Drive year round...all
we ask is to call first (412 856-3343) so we can
open the gate and monitor what is being discarded.
