The police force of 46 officers answers approximately 16,000 service calls per year. The force includes a Special Operations Division which includes a School Resource Officer, Criminal Investigations (Detective) Division and Patrol Division which includes a K-9 Unit.

The rank structure consists of one Chief of Police, sergeants and corporals, in addition to patrolmen.

Unused medication disposal is now available at the Monroeville Municipal Building (rear entrance), 2700 Monroeville Blvd. The collection box shown above will be permanently located in the Police Department lobby and will accept all unused medications.
