The police force of 46 officers answers approximately 18,000 service calls per year. The force includes a Special Operations Division including a community safety officer and juvenile services officer, Detective Division, Traffic Division, Patrol Division and a K-9 Unit.

The rank structure consists of one Chief of Police, several lieutenants, sergeants and corporals, in addition to patrolmen.

The department operates various programs such as neighborhood and business crime watch programs, D.A.R.E. Drug Abuse Resistance Education programs and various safety programs.
